Library Assistant I (User Experience & Assessment) (PR0184/21-22)

The Library now seeks a self-motivated individual to serve in the position of Library Assistant I (User Experience & Assessment) within its User & Information Services Cluster. The appointee will be mainly responsible for: a) assisting in user experience and assessment activities; b) managing library-wide statistics and data; and c) supporting the delivery of frontline information services. Shift duties in the evenings, weekends and public holidays are required.


Applicants should have a university degree, preferably in applied statistics, data science or related disciplines. A minimum of four to six years of related experience is required. They should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). The successful candidate should have a high level of IT skills, great fluency in the use of analytical and statistical software packages, strong analytical proficiency, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with library staff at various levels.
