He/She is required to:

  1. support the provision and implementation of a suite of service to support activities arisen throughout the research lifecycle, including but not limited to research consultation, open access, researcher identity management, research impact, etc;
  2. support in managing University’s Research Information management System (RIMS) and Digital publishing platform;  
  3. design and develop graphical or multi-media materials to support training events, webpage development or other public showcase;
  4. support digitization and publishing activities to disseminate intellectual outputs or creative works produced by Lingnan community;
  5. perform counter and shift duties on regular basis, including evenings, weekends and public holidays; and
  6. undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.


Applicants should have (i) a recognized university degree or above; (ii) familiarity with design software (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign); (iii) good computer skills (e.g. MS Office especially MS Excel; knowledge on HTML 5/CSS/XML/Python/OpenRefine will be an advantage); (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) the ability of attentive to detail; (vi) good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in teams; and (vii) working experience in an academic library setting will be an advantage. Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at the relevant rank.

Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
