Duties
The appointee will be required to:
- assist in coordinating and preparing the data submission for major ranking exercises and other institutional rankings;
- perform in-depth analyses on major rankings exercises and provide insights to the senior management;
- assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the University’s integrated research information system in the areas of research output content management and open access initiatives;
- conduct workshops and training sessions as well as prepare user guides and web pages for different analytics tools;
- liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and support office activities and functions; and
- perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- a recognised degree;
- at least five years of solid and relevant post-qualification experience at supervisory level;
- a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Preference will be given to those who are familiar with research data or research databases, such as Scopus, SciVal, WoS, InCites etc.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
