Duties

The appointee will be required to:

  1. manage research output content and researcher profiles, and perform data visualisation through the University’s integrated Research Information System;
  2. coordinate data submission for major ranking exercises and Research Assessment Exercise;
  3. conduct analysis on research data, impact measurement and research performances of researchers;
  4. prepare data analysis reports and assist in trainings for internal users;
  5. liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in local and international events/activities; and
  6. perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

  1. have a recognised degree with at least five years of post-qualification experience at supervisory level;
  2. be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  3. possess a positive attitude, good interpersonal, liaison and organisational skills with high self-motivation and willing to learn; and
  4. be proactive and able to work independently under pressure, and meet tight schedules.

Preference will be given to those who are familiar with research data or research databases, such as Scopus, SciVal, Pure, WoS, InCites.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
