March, April, responded to IFLA with a summary of how HK academic libraries handled pandemic closure and reopening.
July, collaborated with the HKPL and held the 2020 Hong Kong Library Education and Career Forum in recording due to pandemic situation.
August, organized the workshop: Use of Coding in Librarians’ Work, by Hour of Code Hong Kong and Inno Space via Zoom.
October, collaborated with the JULAC-BSC, NLC and MLIMA on the 2020 version of Names of Persons – Chinese names document for the IFLA Cataloguing Section.
December, held the HKLA AGM via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prof. Joseph Sung was invited as keynote speaker to speak on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.
