Hiroshi Kawamura’s Inspirational Talk on Inclusive Libraries

Mr. Hiroshi Kawamura, SC LPD/IFLA, SC RASCAO/IFLA, Board member of the DAISY Consortium and the Global Chair of the International Commission on Technology and Accessibility /Rehabilitation International, gave us a talk entitled “Ensure Accessibility: Libraries Serving Users with Print Disabilities” at the Main Library of The University of Hong Kong on April 25, 2019.  Important documents, such as Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, were highlighted with a focus on equal access in the one-hour lecture. Universal Design for digital environments was brought out to make sure “No One Left Behind”.
